THE SEAGULL POET
The seagull poet is flying, flying ..
Hovering about everlasting moments
And silver sparkles,
Hanging in the air-
Watching precisely below.
All of a sudden, he is swooping down-
By dipping his head
In the light blue nostalgia,
He pecks a live portion of eternity.
Translation of the Greek verse “THE SEAGUL POET”
prepared by TAKIS PIERRAKOS. The poem has been
written by the poet and is contained in the collection to
be published “The Great Believer.”
